I'm yet another unhappy Perth-ite wanting to get to Tasmania, hopefully next year. I have been looking at secondary schools for year 8. What is Friends School like? I am generally a supporter of government education but want a good academic school where a specific learning disability ( dyslexia) will not be neglected. This is for a boy in Hobart and the area is not important as we will probably rent to start with a view to building in the Huon Valley.

Hi Irene, Fed up with the heat too? There sure are a lot of us wanting to leave Perth. Good luck with your plans and finding out more information on specific schooling needs. Louise.

We don't have kids can't help you out there! Sarah www.movingtotasmania.com.au
